On March 16, 2024, in Antioch, CA, we marked the three-year memorial of the 2021 Atlanta-area shootings. Our Chinese immigrant ancestors came to the United States in the 19th century working the mines, building railroads, and levees during the gold rush in California. Antioch was chosen as the site for this healing pilgrimage to uplift our ancestors, remember history, and gather AAPI and Allies together in racial, social, and spiritual solidarity.
